Val Thorens is
known as the highest ski resort in Europe and therefore a paradise for
all different kinds of winter sports. Because of its height and position
on the mountain there is always plenty of snow (and if not snow cannons).
The village is constructed in a way so that you can ski 360° around
it. The ski resort has got junior park, a slalom course, a sledge course
of 7 km, a snow park and plenty of high quality runs. It's situated
in the '3 valleys', which happens to be the biggest ski resort in the
world. It offers you the choice of the 3 big ski areas.
